    The YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program is offered year-round in seven counties in Metro Denver, including the five YMCA Wellness Centers and over 20 community sites. The program consists of 16 weekly one-hour classroom sessions with monthly follow-up sessions for the remainder of the year. To qualify, you must be 18 years of age or older and have a: Prediabetic blood value, Diagnosis of prediabetes or, High score on a CDC diabetes risk assessment.

According to recent data collected by Von’s Vision, 38% of children in the United States need some form of vision correction. Three out of every ten children under six years old have never been seen by an eye doctor for a variety of reasons. Von’s Vision will work to provide solutions to this problem through development of targeted and strategic impact and outreach programs.

  • Broomfield Easyride provides quality transportation for Broomfield residents aged 60+ and individuals with disabilities. All riders must be registered before scheduling. Register by calling 303-464-5534, or by filling out the Easy Ride Client Information Form.

    • Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Earliest drop off time: 8:45 a.m.
    • Last pick-up time: 4:15 p.m.

Weld & Larimer Counties

  • 60+ Ride helps individuals age 60 and up maintain their independence by assisting with transportation. We offer free transportation seven days and evenings a week, depending on the availability of volunteer drivers.

    Our mission is to help Weld County residents maintain their physical, emotional, and mental health while living independently.

    To register or learn more: Call Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at 970-352-9348 to confirm your eligibility.

    Rides are available 7 days and evenings a week, depending on availability of our volunteers.
    Most rides need be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance. Non-medical related rides may be available on shorter notice.

  • Mountain Communities Senior Services provides free shuttle transportation to social events, lunches, etc. and free handyman services for seniors 60 years of age and older in the Tri-Lakes area (North of Northgate Blvd).
